# W5100 freeze after cable disconnect during transmission

## Question

Asked by Rodrigo Oliveira on 2019-04-26 in Ethernet Chips.

My W5100 (connected to an FPGA) freezes after cable disconnect during transmission and never comes back again, even after the FPGA’s watchdog. I tried to reset the system but the problem persist. Anyone has faced the same problem?
