# Link-Local Address

## Question

Hi to all.
When DHCP mode is enabled, and there is no DHCP server, usually devices will then use the ink-Local Address after a brief timeout of 30s or so.
Is Link-local address supported by W7500-S2E?

Hello,

W7500-S2E isn’t supported.
If there is no DHCP server, you should manually assign an address.
