# Firmware Upload Error

## Question

Asked by kslam1980 on 2018-05-29 in Serial-to-Ethernet & ConfigTool.

I’m trying to upload the firmware to the module, however i got two messages from the Configuration Tool. The first message is the info message - “firmware upload over!”. The second message is the firmware updating error message - “an existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host”.

So, is the firmware uploaded successfully or something wrong has goes wrong?

If that pop-up appears, the firmware update is completed successfully.
The updated process can be checked through the serial debug messages.

I will check for the cause of the second pop-up message.

Thank you.
