# Wiz550io - simple HTTP Request

## Question

Hello,

i have the Wiz550io and connected to ATmega8.
I run a ready-to-use project from : [GitHub - oltzen/W5500Example: W5500 with ATmega](https://github.com/oltzen/W5500Example)

All is up running fine.
SInce i am new to Ethernet, how can I send a simple http request? Means i want to call a specific website (fire and forget) , I dont want to receive any data, just call the page.

Is there a simple method?
