# WLAN for W5100?

## Question

Asked by siggi-zx81 on 2017-05-17 in Ethernet Chips.

Hi
is there any WLAN-Module available, that is (beside the additional WLAN configuration) software-compatible to the W5100?

Or is any hardware available to add WLAN functionality to an existing WIZ812 module?

I want to make “ZeddyNet” to be able to be used with a “WLAN cable” ![:wink:](https://emoji.discourse-cdn.com/twitter/wink.png?v=12)

Hi,

Unfortunately, there is no WLAN module with W5100.

You seem to be looking for a Gateway model.
If you are interested, please refer to [WizFi630A](http://wizwiki.net/wiki/doku.php?id=products:wizfi630a:start), not W5100.
