# W5500 crystal specification

## Question

Asked by Tobias89 on 2016-04-26 in Ethernet Chips.

Hello,

I am integrating W5500 on one of our modules and I have a question about crystal specification in datasheet. The drive level is specified in uW/MHz, instead of uW.

Is that a mistake, or is drive level really 59.12 x 25 MHz? Or is it something else?

I appreciate any help!

Hi.

It is just power consumption.

driving 25Mhz, and max power consumption is 59.12uW.

This power consumption should not exceed 59.12uW

refer to below 2 datasheet.

1. [murata.com/products/timingde … drivelevel](http://www.murata.com/products/timingdevice/crystalu/basic/drivelevel)

2. file:///C:/Users/Administrator/Downloads/IDT_AN830_APN_20140505%20(1).pdf

Thank you
