# Wiznet550se2-232 not transmitting

## Question

Asked by poslach on 2015-01-13 in Serial-to-Ethernet & ConfigTool.

When I connect to the module (server) from a pc (client) and send a data stream, there is no data transmitted through to the rs232 pins on the db9 connector. The module connects to the client etc. Module configured using configuration tool for tcp server with at dis-abled.

Scoping the transmit and receive pin on the db9 shows no data being sent.

Hi.

Please check the transfer of “Connection Password” to a target(TCP Server).
Refer to 1:05 position of UCC in YouTube ([wizwiki.net/wiki/doku.php?id=pro … utorial_en](http://wizwiki.net/wiki/doku.php?id=products:wiz550s2e:wiz550s2e_tutorial_en))

And you can remove the Connection Password by Configuration tool if you not use this function.

Thanks.
