# W5300 Overriding Op Mode

## Question

Asked by remigauvin on 2014-11-27 in Ethernet Chips.

Hello,

Is there a way to override the Op Mode for the W5300 device? Our board is designed to force the op mode to Auto but I would like to change this dynamically without re-designing the board.

Thanks for any advice.

Hi,

Unfortunately you should control pin.
Or use GPIO to control dynamically.
