# Phy configuration 10/100 auto

## Question

Asked by kammutierspule on 2014-08-13 in Ethernet Chips.

Is it possible to set the different Phy configuration option (10 / 100 auto…full / half duplex) by software? If possible what are the pin configuration setup in hardware ? will the software registers will override or will the hardware setup override the configuration?

Oks I found in datasheet that I must use the OPMD bit
