# Hardware configuration read command

## Question

Asked by pthakkar on 2014-06-05 in Serial-to-Ethernet & ConfigTool.

I recently updated to firmware 5.10 and after issueing the read command in hardware configuration mode, I did not receive the mac address completely i.e. “00” & “08” were missing in data received. Is this intentional or some bug?
