## Article

Recently, we tested 100 units of the W55RP20, a newly released integrated product combining the RP2040 and the W5500. This product is particularly designed for IoT and network communication, making it essential to verify its stability under varying voltage conditions. The goal of this test was to ensure that the W55RP20 operates reliably across a range of voltage fluctuations.

#### Test Background

The primary purpose of this test was to evaluate the stability of the W55RP20’s power supply (VDD) under different voltage conditions. The W55RP20 combines the RP2040’s computational capabilities with the networking functionality of the W5500, all within a compact form factor, making it a powerful solution for network-enabled projects.

#### DC Characteristics (Based on RP2040)

| Symbol | Parameter | Test Condition | Min | Typ | Max | Unit |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| VDD | Supply voltage | Apply VDD, AVDD | 2.97 | 3.3 | 3.63 | V |

#### Test Methodology

We selected 100 units of the W55RP20 and conducted a voltage fluctuation test. In the testing environment, the supply voltage was varied between a minimum of 2.97V and a maximum of 3.63V. At each voltage level, we observed the normal operation of the modules, particularly focusing on network communication stability and internal processing.

#### Test Results

All 100 W55RP20 units operated flawlessly within the specified voltage range. No network connectivity issues or internal processing errors were observed throughout the tests. The modules maintained reliable communication and performance, demonstrating strong resilience to voltage fluctuations.

#### Conclusion

The results of this test confirm that the W55RP20 operates reliably across a wide range of voltages. With a nominal supply voltage of 3.3V, the W55RP20 can function effectively between 2.97V and 3.63V without any performance degradation. This makes it an ideal choice for IoT and network-related applications that may experience varying voltage conditions.

Thanks to its voltage stability, the W55RP20 is well-suited for network applications that demand high reliability. If you're working on projects that require network functionality in fluctuating power environments, the W55RP20 is highly recommended.
