The Ackalyte BaseTee is a long-range LED controller and carrier board designed for the Teensy 3.6, expanding upon the Teensy’s features by providing **Ethernet**, **quad-channel audio**, a **USB-A** connector for host applications, and up to **15 single-ended and long range **LED channels.

The LED controller supports Artnet ethernet lighting protocol via a standard pre-loaded image and can also run standalone/custom lighting code along with a wide range of Arduino scripts.

Teensy pins are also broken out to Arduino-style headers, providing a means for taking advantage of the Teensy’s IO and Analog inputs, further enhancing the user’s possibilities

The BaseTee utilizes **Ackalyte's LED** drive library. **15 OUTPUTS** can be updated simultaneously with at least 1 universe per output, making this platform a powerful tool for LED installation projects. Also, when used in conjunction with Ackalyte LED power modules, LED data can be transmitted more than **100m** over standard CAT5 and CAT6 cables.

Smart switching enables the BaseTee to be powered by via micro USB-B or standard DC barrel jack at voltages ranging from 6V - 25V DC.
