## Article

**DETAILS**

MadsHHLunds ESP IDF Eth W6100

This is an example how to use W6100 with ESP IDF. It has simple funtions to setup W6100 mac and phy information.

Check **esp_eth_mac_t *esp_eth_mac_new_w6100()** and **esp_eth_phy_t *esp_eth_phy_new_w6100()** in esp_eth_w6100.h

All most of W6100 is compatable with W5500 except some socket registers related IPv6. But there is no problem to setup with SPI setup to refer ESP IDF with W5500.
