The WIZ5XX series by WIZnet is set to expand its capabilities with the upcoming support for the Modbus protocol.

This addition is a significant leap forward in facilitating industrial automation and smart control systems. Modbus, an established communication protocol widely used in various industrial environments, offers simplicity, reliability, and connectivity for devices and controllers.

The function has not been added to the configuration tool yet, and the modbus function can be set by setting options in command mode.

After completing the work on adding features to the configuration tool, the modbus protocol will be available for the WIZ5XX series in April!
