# lv_micropython (LVGL)

> This project aims to bind LVGL for use in Micropython and includes settings and information for the W5500-EVB-Pico and W5100s-EVB-Pico board

Original author: lvgl (source: https://github.com/lvgl/lv_micropython)

## Components

- **WIZnet W5100S-EVB-Pico** x 1 ([docs](https://docs.wiznet.io/Product/Chip/Ethernet/W5100S/w5100s-evb-pico))
- **WIZnet W5500-EVB-Pico** x 1 ([docs](https://docs.wiznet.io/Product/Chip/Ethernet/W5500/w5500-evb-pico))
- Software: **MicroPython** ([docs](http://micropython.org/))

## Article

This project aims to bind LVGL for use in Micropython, allowing users to easily implement graphical interfaces on embedded devices using the Python language.

Each directory contains settings and information about the board. This directory contains the following files

board.json: Provides information about the board in JSON format.
manifest.py: Defines the modules and libraries required by the board.
mpconfigboard.cmake: Contains CMake settings for the board.
mpconfigboard.h: Header file for the board, defining specific settings for the board.
pins.csv: Provides the pinout of the board in CSV format.
readme.md: A document that provides information about the board and explains how to use it.

According to the readme.md file, the board can be used to run network/socket-based code. To do this, you need to connect the Ethernet port to a network with DHCP running. Then you can import the network module and use the WIZNET5K class to enable and set up the network interface. After that, you can use standard network communication libraries.

## Expectations

Rich widgets make it easy to build complex UIs and create more user-friendly interfaces for embedded systems.
